The Internal Audit Service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, together with representatives of the Department of Defense Cooperation of the US Embassy, conducted an inspection of weapons and property provided by American partners in one of the military units.

The press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported this today, January 20.
Ukrainian and American inspectors checked three main positions:
- serial numbers;
- technical condition;
- conditions of proper storage (safety and security).
The information is currently being processed. During the joint work, there were no comments from the US representatives, the statement says.
It is noted that joint inspections on the end use of weapons provided by partners will continue.
Ensuring access to storage sites, openness and systematic joint inspections are specific measures that we are taking to enhance transparency and build trust in relations with partners,” said Deputy Minister of Defense Yuri Dzhigir.
