    .

On the night of January 20, Russian invaders launched seven attack UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type from the Primorsko-Akhtarsky region in Russia. In addition, the enemy struck the Donetsk region with three S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles launched from the occupied areas of the Lugansk region. The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this on Telegram.

It is noted that mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces managed to destroy four enemy drones. The command assured that the remaining Shaheds did not achieve their goals.

Air defense operated within four regions – Odessa, Nikolaev, Cherkassy and Khmelnytsky.

Let us recall that on the night of January 17, the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the first time used the air defense system of the FrankenSAM project to shoot down Russian kamikaze drones of the Shahed type. The enemy UAV was hit at a distance of 9 km.
