That’s why the Russians are devoting all their efforts to this. The Russians are pressing everywhere, there are dozens of shelling of the city,” Vitaly Barabash, head of the Avdeevka MVA, told the Espresso TV channel.
In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian soldiers are actively destroying the armored vehicles of the Russian troops, with which the enemy is supporting the infantry. Over three days, the occupiers lost 41 armored vehicles in this area.

AVDIEVSKY section – difficult last days. On January 17 and 18, the enemy carried out almost 100 KAB attacks on the city.
Clashes continue in Stepnoye, enemy infantry tried to gain a foothold on the northern outskirts of the village, but Defense Force fighters inflicted significant losses on the enemy.
After the occupiers were thrown back to the eastern part of the village, they made more than ten attempts to regain their lost positions. As a result of many days of fighting, it was unsuccessful.
To the south of the villages they were able to advance 100 meters, but did not gain a foothold. To the north – they collect a shock fist for further actions.
To the south, the invaders of Avdeevka advanced west of the dacha settlement “Vinogradniki” and carried out assault operations on the “Tsar’s Hunt” and neighboring positions. The situation is unknown.
In the private sector in the south of Avdievka, they advanced 200 meters, did not gain a foothold, and could retreat to the exit lines under pressure from artillery and drones.
GEORGIEVKA – the enemy continues to press from Maryinka and carries out assault operations from the north and south of Novomikhailovka, trying to take the village in a pincer movement.
KAMENKA – the enemy was not successful.
PERVOMAYSKOE – in the northern part the enemy had tactical successes.
NEVELSKOYE – the enemy is trying to actively storm. The Ukrainian Armed Forces hold the village tightly.
TAVRIYSKY segment – in Krynki the situation is not so colorful, the invaders are attacking with infantry and killing our logistics as much as possible.
