French President Emmanuel Macron will visit Ukraine in February. However, the exact date of the French leader’s visit is not yet known.

French President Emmanuel Macron plans to visit Ukraine in February. The purpose of the visit is a bilateral agreement on security guarantees between the countries, similar to what Ukraine has done with the UK. Reuters wrote this on Tuesday, January 16, citing his statement.

In addition, Macron promised that Ukraine will receive about 40 Scalp long-range missiles and several hundred bombs in the coming weeks.

“After these deliveries, I myself will go to Ukraine in February,” he said.

The politician added that France and the European Union will have to “make new decisions in the coming weeks and months” to prevent Russia from winning.

It was previously reported that France will allocate 200 million euros for military support to Ukraine.
