The parties exchanged views on the tactics and strategies of Ukraine and the Alliance in the context of Russian aggression.
On Tuesday, January 16, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny had a telephone conversation with the head of the NATO Military Committee, Admiral Rob Bauer. The general reported this on Telegram.
“I informed Admiral Bauer about the situation at the front. In this context, we exchanged views on the tactics and strategies of Ukraine and the Alliance in the context of a large-scale Russian invasion. He emphasized that in a war of such intensity and scale, technology plays an important role,” Zaluzhny wrote.
The interlocutors discussed the prospects and possibilities of combining the technological efforts of Ukraine and NATO to achieve success.
Zaluzhny and Bauer agreed to pay attention in detail to some important issues tomorrow during a meeting, in which the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will participate via videoconference.
Let’s recall that the day before Zaluzhny had a telephone conversation with the head of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, Charles Brown. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shared with the US General the results of the review of military operations in 2023.
Zaluzhny also spoke with the Chief of the Defense Staff of the Italian Armed Forces, Giuseppe Cavo Dragone. He invited the admiral to visit Ukraine and cooperate with the control points and brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
