The Prime Minister of Estonia mentioned that if these people follow the rules, they have the right to be in Estonia.
Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas has assured that her state will not extradite Ukrainian men of mobilization age.
Kallas said he discussed the issue with President Volodymyr Zelensky during his visit to Tallinn this week.
“President Zelensky said that there are people on the battlefield, and there are people who pay taxes in Ukraine so that you can provide for the soldiers who are on the battlefield. But there are also people who are abroad, for example in Estonia “, he said in an interview with The Kyiv Independent.
The Prime Minister said that if these people follow the rules, they have the right to be in Estonia.
“Therefore, we will certainly not do anything on our part to extradite these people. It is up to Ukraine to contact the people here and ask them to come back to help their homeland,” Kallas said.
Let’s recall that the Myslovo dictionary of the modern Ukrainian language and slang named “mobilization” as the word of 2023.
