New details have emerged in the case of the head of the rear food supply department of the Logistics Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Colonel Alexander Kozlovsky, who is suspected of organizing a “family business” for the purchase of food for the military.
The pre-trial investigation revealed that in the summer of 2023, Kozlovsky probably acquired 47 plots of land in the regions of Kiev, Khmelnitsky, Vinnitsa, Cherkassy, Zhytomyr, Poltava, a select apartment and car, and also want to buy a prosthetic. plant in Khmelnytsky at an auction of the State Property Fund. This was reported by the Anti-Corruption Center, citing the investigation of the publication “Our Money”.
It was also found that the group for “cutting” 170 million UAH in tenders included the parents of Kozlovsky’s wife, registered as a single owner, and a number of food monopoly companies for the Ministry of Defense.
It was noted that the total value of Kozlovsky’s lands amounted to UAH 7.71 million, and property rights were specifically registered to the father-in-law and mother-in-law.
In addition, in March 2023, Kozlovsky probably bought an apartment in Kyiv with an area of 158 square meters for UAH 5.85 million (estimated value UAH 8.34 million), where he lives. It was decorated with furniture, bought with money from the mother-in-law’s bank card. Also in 2023, Kozlovsky, according to investigators, bought a Toyota Corolla Cross Hibrid for UAH 1.41 million. and registered it in his daughter’s name. It is worth noting that during the entire period of his working life he received an income of 378 thousand UAH.
“The defendant even wanted to buy a prosthetic plant in Khmelnitsky at an auction of the State Property Fund. But at the last moment, the investigators stopped everything – they seized the plant so that it could not be bought with questionable money,” reports the Central Bank of Russia.
It was also noted that during the theft of budget funds, the officials of the supplying companies created the appearance of providing the military with sets of goods, although some of the goods were not delivered.
“The companies received money from the Ministry of Defense, after which Kozlovsky’s wife “Eco Trade Ukraine” (UAH 113 million), mother-in-law (UAH 56 million) and Kozlovsky’s mother-in-law (UAH 2 million) were transferred . in Kozlovsky’s company.
