Sejurnoe arrived in Kyiv for his first trip abroad to continue France’s diplomatic efforts and reaffirm France’s commitment to its allies and civilians, the French Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The diplomat is expected to meet with Vladimir Zelensky in Kyiv.
In addition, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced his visit to Ukraine “in the coming days.”

Sejournoye is the newly appointed French Foreign Minister. His arrival in Kyiv is his first official foreign visit in office. He was met by his colleague Dmitry Kuleba.
