In Ukraine, the contents of the “baby package” have changed since January 1, the press service of the Ministry of Social Policy reports.
Today, new items are added to the baby boxes and the number of popular products will increase, in particular, reusable moisture-resistant diapers and warm clothes for babies (hats and small male). The size of the blanket has also been increased for more convenient use, but the amount of small-sized clothes that babies quickly outgrow (bodysuits, romper pants) has been reduced.
The new contents of the “baby package” were approved by order of the Ministry of Social Policy dated January 2, 2024.
In addition, the cost of the “baby package” has increased from 6816 to 7689 hryvnias. This happened against the backdrop of rising cost of living.
We remind you that we started providing newborn children with the necessary items in September 2018.
Prior to this, the Ministry of Social Policy approved the list of goods to be included in the free “baby package” given to parents upon the birth of a child.
