Yesterday, he discussed with his Lithuanian colleague Jurgita Shyugzhdenie the process of organizing the education of Ukrainian children temporarily in Lithuania in connection with Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
The ministers agreed on further cooperation, the creation of a joint working group to coordinate subject educational issues and discussed the organization of the national multi-subject examination.
According to Shkarlet, Shyugzhdenie assured that the Ministry of Education, Science and Sports of Lithuania will continue to promote the creation of conditions for the education of Ukrainian children.
Shkarlet expressed his gratitude to the Republic of Lithuania and Shyugzhdiyina personally for the full support of Ukrainians.
It was previously reported that Ukrainian students in Warsaw will be taught in Ukrainian. About 400 Ukrainians are studying at the Collegium Civitas University.
