The Bureau of Reintegration said there was no confirmation of the statements of the Transnistrian secret service MGB.
Chisinau denied Tiraspol’s statement about an incident on the Ukrainian border, as a result of which two residents of the Transnistrian region were “transferred” to the neighboring country. NewsMaker reported this today, January 11, citing the Bureau of Reintegration of Moldova.
The NM Reintegration Bureau stated that there was no confirmation of the statements of the Transnistrian secret service MGB.
“There is no confirmed information about this through official channels. We reiterate the need to receive information from reliable and official sources of competent government agencies,” said representatives of the Reintegration Bureau.
The Ukrainian State Border Service also rejected Tiraspol’s information. The press secretary of the Ukrainian department, Andrey Demchenko, said in a commentary to RBC-Ukraine that he was not aware of any incidents on the Transnistrian segment of the border with Moldova.
We remind you that on January 10, in unrecognized Transnistria they reported shooting at the border, as well as the flight of two people into the territory of Ukraine.
Last May, unrecognized Transnistria asked Russia to increase the number of so-called “peackeepers.”
