Iran’s support for the terrorist country continues, and this means that new drones may be prepared for launch, a spokesman for the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine said.
A cargo plane has arrived from Tehran to Moscow, which may bring “shaheeds” or parts with which the Russians can assemble drones on their territory. Natalia Gumenyuk, a representative of the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine, announced this at the telethon, writes RBC-Ukraine.
“Iran’s support for the terrorist country continues, and this means that new drones can be prepared for launch. Almost every night the enemy attacks the territory of Ukraine and uses the night time for such attacks. -attack. The last two nights were less eventful, most likely , due to the weather conditions, as the drones were afraid of the extreme cold,” said the spokesperson.
Gumenyuk added that on January 11, Russia deployed launch vehicles to their bases, but there are three Russian ships on combat duty in the Black Sea.
He also added that there has been no shelling from the sea for a long time, and this is explained by the forced transfer of Russian missile carriers from Crimea to Novorossiysk.
Let’s recall that in September a video with new Iranian Shahed-136 OWA drones, equipped with a turbojet engine, appeared online. And on January 9, communications and radio electronics specialist Sergei Flash Beskrestnov said that the first Shahed-238 with a jet engine was shot down in the sky of Ukraine. The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces admitted that the new Shahed-238 is more difficult to detect.
