The president of the aggressor country emphasized that when resolving the issues should proceed with “consideration of priorities.”
The renovation of kindergartens is currently not a priority for the Russian authorities, and money for such measures is not provided in the budget. Russian President Vladimir Putin said this at a meeting with residents of Chukotka on January 10, reports The Moscow Times.
One of the participants of the event asked the head of the Kremlin if it is possible to finance the renovation of kindergartens. He said that there is not enough money in the regional budget for this. “There is always not enough money,” Putin replied to him.
The president of the aggressor country emphasized that when resolving the issues should continue to “take into account the priorities that are most important here and now.” These, according to Putin, include the renovation of schools – the corresponding program should cover 13 thousand educational institutions throughout Russia. The authorities do not plan to finance the modernization of kindergartens at the same time.
“This is the next phase, in my opinion,” he added.
In 2024, the federal budget plans to spend 230.8 billion rubles. within the framework of the national project of Russian Education. At the same time, costs for the federal project Modern School will be reduced by 5%, for the federal project The Success of Every Child – by 8%, for the federal project Digital Educational Environment – by 15%.
There will be no reduction in funding for the Patriotic Education project: 45.8 billion rubles are allocated for it – nine times more than in pre-war 2021.
The main priority of the government, according to the budget law of the Russian Federation, is the army and security forces: a total of 14.1 trillion rubles will be spent on them, or 38% of the budget – a record share since the times of the USSR.
Let’s remember that, according to media reports, since the beginning of 2023, the secret expenditures of the Russian budget have reached 3 trillion rubles ($37.5 billion). So they are actually 26%.
