Bad weather in Ukraine: no power in 523 settlements

153 teams – 422 workers and 174 pieces of equipment – were involved in the work to remove the damage and restore the power supply.

As of Wednesday morning, January 10, 523 settlements remain without power in Ukraine. The most common causes of outages are icing of lines and collapsing supports, the Ministry of Energy reports.

It is indicated that in the past 24 hours, about 500 settlements in the Dnepropetrovsk, Odessa, Nikolaev, Kirovograd, and Zaporozhye regions have been reinforced.

At the same time, 523 settlements remain without electricity. Most of the power outages due to bad weather were in the Dnepropetrovsk region – 186, Kirovograd – 107, Nikolaev – 99 and in the Odessa region – 97 settlements. There is also a shutdown due to bad weather in Chernihiv, Sumy, and Zaporozhye regions.

Energy workers work in enhanced mode. 153 teams – 422 workers, 174 pieces of equipment – were involved in the work to remove the damage and restore the power supply.

We remind you that yesterday in Ukraine due to bad weather, 1025 settlements in nine regions were cut off. It has also been reported that Ukrainian power plants are operating at maximum capacity.
