Much work is being done to protect the country, which has not been advertised, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council stressed.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has instructed a number of departments to check the readiness for the defense of the country in the four regions in case there is a repeated invasion from the territory of Belarus. This was announced on Thursday, June 16, by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexei Danilov on the air of the program Great Lvov Speaks.
“Regarding the direction from Belarus. I want to inform you that in addition to the National Security and Defense Council, there is the headquarters of the supreme commander in chief … Yesterday the president called the headquarters, and in particular this issue was discussed – the issue of Belarus.
All our bodies involved here have given an analysis – what is happening, what is the situation of the Belarusian army today, how many Russian Federation militaries are present, what are the plans. All of this is under the control of our President, and yesterday the bet on this account worked for quite some time. And I think it’s quite effective.
As a result, there is an instruction – now there will be a check on the four areas of the state of preparation in case there are repeated calls for our country, ”shares Danilov.
He added that much of the work being done to protect the country, which is not advertised, is not public.
“Believe me, we understand what is happening in Belarus, we understand what is happening in the Russian Federation,” Danilov said.
However, he did not specify in which areas the audit would be conducted. Belarus is bordered by 5 regions of Ukraine: Chernihiv, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Rivne and Volyn.
Recall that in Belarus they noticed the transportation of unmarked howitzers by train.
