The people’s deputy is accused of official forgery under Part 1 of Art. 366 of the Criminal Code. The DBP press service reported this today, January 9.
The department notes that it was established that the deputy entered false information into official documents, on the basis of which he went abroad:
- in his application for permission to leave, he indicated the reason – accompanying his father for treatment, but in fact he went on vacation;
- besides, the deputy and father went abroad separately, and the father generally returned to Ukraine much earlier than the people’s representative;
- During his stay abroad, the people’s deputy managed to visit Italy, Croatia and Spain twice. In particular, in Spain he stayed in two hotels in Barcelona and its suburbs.
The Prosecutor General reported the corresponding suspicion to Dubinsky on August 8, 2023. On November 11, DBI employees completed the pre-trial investigation. The court also limited the time limit for familiarization with the materials of this criminal proceeding.
