This is reported by RMF24 FM with reference to the European Commissioner’s letter to the President of the European Commission Ursulie von der Leyen and the EC Vice President for Trade Valdis Dombrovskis.
According to the publication, Wojciechowski will block the regulations if his proposals are not taken into account, in particular, on restrictions on the import of sugar and poultry meat from Ukraine, because “this threatens to destabilize the EU market.”
The European Commissioner also repeated his position, placing responsibility for the current state of affairs on the Russian Federation, which is blocking the supply of Ukrainian agricultural products to its traditional markets in Asia and Africa. He asks to support Ukrainian transit to EU seaports so that Ukraine can return to these markets.
