About this today. January 7 reported on the website of the Center for National Resistance.
According to the CNS, the purpose of this step on the part of the occupiers is:
- intensifying searches of local residents’ homes. The occupiers will pay special attention to checking personal documents, primarily of those citizens who, in their opinion, do not support Russian rhetoric and the goals of the so-called “svo.”
- the occupiers will try to force Ukrainian citizens to issue enemy passports;
- FSB officers also provide additional security for collaborators in management bodies and persons involved in organizing and conducting the “election process” at the TOT.
These events take place against the backdrop of regular attacks by the Ukrainian Defense Forces on key military installations in hostile rear areas. In this connection, the occupiers are seeking to identify representatives of the resistance movement, since the activities of the Ukrainian underground are very powerful in this area, the CNS notes.
