On January 6, the Verkhovna Rada registered a resolution to recall Maryana Bezugla from the post of deputy chairman of the committee on national security, defense and intelligence.

The people’s deputy from Servant of the People responded to the authors of the resolution on Facebook, including her fellow party member Alexander Zavitnevich (chairman of the committee):
They didn’t scare me and didn’t stop me,” the people’s deputy wrote.
Since November 2023, “Servant of the People” Bezuglaya has been marked by sharp criticism of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, since he did not provide “any action plan for 2024.”
According to People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak, the draft resolution can be put to a vote on January 10-12, and if there are 226+ votes, it will be adopted.
At the same time, according to the document, Bezugla will remain a member of the National Security Committee, as well as the chairman of the subcommittee on democratic civilian oversight and control.
