The Verkhovna Rada registered a draft resolution on recalling MP Maryana Bezugla from the post of deputy chairman of the committee on national security, defense and intelligence. This was confirmed by data on the parliament website on Saturday, January 6.
The initiators of Resolution No. 10391 are 11 people’s representatives, including the head of the committee, Alexander Zavitnevich from the Servant of the People.
It is stated that the purpose of the resolution is to withdraw Bezugla from the position of deputy chairman of the Committee.
“Guided by the provisions of Article 83 of the regulations of the Verkhovna Rada, Article 7 of the law “On the Committees of the Verkhovna Rada,” it is proposed to recall the people’s representative Bezugla Maryana Vladimirovna from the post of deputy chairman of the Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence,” the explanatory note said.
It is known that on January 5, the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence recommended the removal of Bezugla from the post of deputy chairman of the committee.
Let’s recall that at the end of November, Maryana Bezuglaya accused the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny of the absence of an action plan for 2024. Then the Rada called the behavior unacceptable by Bezugla.
