    .

Operators of one of the MTR units discovered two Russian 2S9 Nona-S self-propelled guns in the Zaporozhye direction. The HIMARS multiple launch rocket system of the defense forces’ missile and artillery unit was used to target hostile targets. The command of the Special Operations Forces announced this on Facebook on January 5.

A clear adjustment made it possible to destroy two Russian self-propelled guns at once with just one blow. The corresponding video was published online.

As you know, the Nona-S self-propelled artillery mount is designed for direct fire support of airborne troops on the battlefield. Its main weapon is a 120 mm caliber mortar gun.

Let us recall that on January 4, the Ukrainian military destroyed the Russian Strela-10 anti-aircraft missile system in the southern direction using a HIMARS multiple launch rocket system.
