These measures are aimed at preventing and neutralizing threats of intelligence and subversive activities against Ukraine. Residents of the region are asked to remain calm, understand possible inconveniences and respond responsibly to the legitimate demands of security forces. The Office of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Sumy region reported this on Facebook on January 5.
Taking into account the legal regime of martial law, which was introduced on the territory of our state and taking into account the border location of the Sumy region, comprehensive counter-sabotage measures are continuing in the region, the special service noted.
Local residents are asked to report suspicious persons. If such persons are interested in the location of military and strategically important facilities or units of the Defense Forces, then they must call the 24-hour helpline of the SBU Office in the Sumy region, at the number: 0891-200-533 or email:
[email protected].
Let us remind you that at the end of December, residents were evacuated from settlements in the Sumy region located in the 5-kilometer border zone. Due to constant Russian shelling, residents of settlements in the Novoslobodskaya, Belopolskaya, Krasnopolskaya, Shalyginskaya and Esmanskaya communities were forced to leave.
