To ensure the safety of Polish airspace, two pairs of F-16 fighters and an allied air tanker were involved, the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces said.
Let us recall that during the preliminary attack by Ukraine on December 29, one missile flew into Poland. She was never discovered.
The preliminary version is that a Russian rocket flew 40 km into the skies of Poland for three minutes, and then flew back to Ukraine. F-16s were also launched into the sky at that time.
The Polish Foreign Ministry then handed a note to the head of the Russian Embassy due to the violation of Polish airspace by a Russian missile. Warsaw promised that it would respond more harshly to further provocations involving violation of airspace
