The head of the sports department, Anton Nikulin, announced this on December 29.
Kobzisty was born on March 7, 1979 in the city of Kremenchug, Poltava region. The basketball player played for the Ukrainian national team in the finals of the European Championships in 2001 and 2005.
Victor ended his playing career in the summer of 2011 and switched to coaching.
On December 29, the Russian army attacked the Lviv region for five and a half hours. According to the head of the Lvov OVA, Maxim Kozitsky, in addition to 14 “martyrs,” the Russian army launched 15 missiles in the region, 10 of which were destroyed by air defense forces.
As of 13.00, 24 people were injured as a result of the rocket attack. A man born in 1979 died. This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of the Lviv region.
Five people were rescued from the damaged house. 60 rescuers and 9 units of special equipment were involved in eliminating the consequences of the shelling.
