Authorities are constantly monitoring the security situation in educational institutions, especially the repair of shelters.
The first results of the examination of educational institutions in Ukraine for the availability of shelters appeared. This was announced by educational ombudsman Sergei Gorbachev on his Telegram channel.
According to him, only 1,100 of the 13,700 schools have such shelters, as well as some level of protective structure, allowing offline learning.
“Only 8% of schools have shelters, which will allow the on-site education process to begin. We are constantly monitoring the security situation in educational institutions, in particular, the repair of shelters, “Gorbachev pointed out.
At the same time, the Ombudsman stressed that one should be especially selective about security in the 98 front-line and border communities, as rockets and shells can get there before the alarm even sounds.
As reported, representatives of the State Emergency Service will check educational institutions for the availability of shelters, and only those institutions where it will be safe will open in the fall.
