Ukraine has enough strength to continue the fight against the Russian occupiers, but does not have enough weapons, the People’s Deputy insisted.
Every day, up to a thousand Ukrainian soldiers are killed and wounded in the Donbas. This number has increased significantly over the past two weeks. This was stated by Servant of the People team leader David Arahamia, writing on Wednesday, June 15, Axios.

The citizen’s representative noted that the daily losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in eastern Ukraine are usually “from 200 to 500 killed and many more injured.”
At the same time, Arahamia said that Ukraine has drafted a million people into the army and has a chance to recruit another two million, so it has enough strength to continue the fight against the Russian occupiers. However, he insisted, the defenders lacked weapons and ammunition.
“Our negotiating position is really weak, we don’t want to sit at the negotiating table if we are in that position. We need to somehow reverse events,” the politician said, emphasizing the need for a counter -offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to reclaim the territories.
As you know, the head of the Ukrainian delegation for peace talks with Russia, David Arahamia, was on a working visit to the United States.
Recall, on June 9, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov said that in the course of fighting the occupiers, Ukraine is losing up to a hundred military personnel every day. At the same time, the Office of the President called the number of military casualties at 100-200.
