The Westinghouse reactor, which they plan to buy for the new power unit at the Khmelnitsky NPP, will cost $437.5 million. This is stated in the announcement of NAEC Energoatom, published in the Prozorro system.
The contract with the American manufacturer Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is classified as a “Trade Secret”.
According to the announcement, the AP1000 reactor plant will cost $437.5 million (UAH 16.4 billion at the current exchange rate).
It must be delivered by Westinghouse Electric Company LLC no later than November 30, 2027.

It was previously reported that Energoatom tested a gas turbine mobile power plant received from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) as part of technical assistance to Ukraine’s energy sector.
