The Turkish Foreign Minister called the UN plan for the export of Ukrainian grain highly feasible, the Anadolu agency reports.
There is no need to mine the Black Sea coast of Ukraine to start importing grain. Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said this on Wednesday in an interview with journalists in Ankara, the Anadolu agency reports.
Cavusoglu said a safe route for ships could be put in directions where there is no threat of a mine. According to the head of diplomacy, clearing the sea zone of the mines in accordance with the UN plan could take some time.
“The locations of the mines at sea are known. It is possible to create safe exits in the three ports, and this will allow the ships to proceed without any threat. Ukrainian boats will serve as guides. After entering the ships ships in the security zone, they will be checked, “the minister said.
The head of the Turkish Foreign Ministry called the UN plan for the export of Ukrainian grain highly feasible.
“We are waiting for a response from Russia on this issue. Turkey supports this plan. If the parties support the initiative, we can organize a meeting in Istanbul to discuss the details,” Cavusoglu said.
Recall that Ukraine is preparing a plan B in case it is impossible to deblock the ports.
