Energy supply continued for 8.6 thousand consumers living in Donetsk and Dnepropetrovsk regions.
For two days, DTEK repair crews restored electricity to residents of 20 settlements in the front-line regions – Donetsk and Dnepropetrovsk regions. The energy holding announced this on Sunday, December 24.
It is indicated that in the territory of Donbass, due to Russia’s shelling, networks and equipment are constantly being cut. Despite this, over the past two days, electrical engineers have restored electricity to 7.4 thousand consumers in the Donetsk region.
The south of the Dnepropetrovsk region also suffers from frequent shelling, which continues to damage the energy infrastructure. Here, DTEK workers restored power to 1.1 thousand residents who lost power as a result of enemy attacks.
“In some settlements close to the combat zone, DTEK specialists have restored power dozens of times and continue to do so again and again,” the company said.
We remind you that on December 23, after heavy shooting, five power engineers working at the DTEK thermal power plant in the front-line region were injured. First aid was given to the victims, then they were taken to the hospital.
It was also reported that in Ukraine there was an emergency shutdown in four thermal power plant units and one thermal power plant.
