The Ukrainian military completely liberated the city of Bucha near Kiev from Russian occupiers. This was announced by mayor Anatoly Fedoruk on Friday, April 1st.
“March 31 will go down in the history of our settlement, the entire community of the territory, as the day of liberation from the Russian orcs, from the Russian occupiers of our Armed Forces of Ukraine, our communities. Therefore, now I say that today is a happy day and a great success, “said Mayor Fedoruk.
Earlier on Friday, it was learned that a significant portion of the occupiers had left Bucha. At the same time, it was noted that it is still dangerous for the displaced local residents to return there due to the presence of enemy sabotage groups and mine traps.
Also today, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated the village of Ivankov in the Kyiv region. This settlement in the Vyshgorod region was occupied from the early days of the war. Since March 4, there has been no Internet and mobile communication.
