David Cameron emphasized that the British authorities could do more to increase the production of weapons and equipment.
The UK is considering giving more aid to Ukraine in 2024 than in 2022 and 2023 to fight Russian invaders. British Foreign Secretary David Cameron told The Telegraph.
“We can achieve more. We are looking at what cost elements we can build on a multi-year basis,” he said.
He said the authorities could do more to increase the output of arms and equipment from British defense factories to replenish stocks depleted by the war in Ukraine.
“We should see the increase in these reserves as something good for Ukrainians and good for us in a more dangerous world,” the official concluded.
As we have already written, British defense companies entered into several agreements with Ukraine, related to ship maintenance, support for artillery systems and development of UAVs.
