Instead of the previously promised four Mars II multiple launch rocket systems, Ukraine will receive only three, and those in August-September only.

Instead of the four promised Mars II multiple rocket launchers, the German authorities will provide only three to Ukraine. On Wednesday, June 15, Business Insider reports related to the plan, which will be announced today by German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht.

It was noticed that the reduction was partly due to the lack of ammunition. Germany could not use itself due to lack of updated software.

According to the publication, delivery to Ukraine is possible only because the United States will provide additional ammunition for Germany’s Mars II. In addition, less than half of the systems work and are no longer made by industry.

As reported, the installations should be moved to Ukraine in August-September. Before that, the Ukrainian military must be trained.

It will be recalled that, the other day, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz again promised Ukraine’s modern weapons, which will come “soon.”

Earlier, Germany reported that in the first three months of the war in Ukraine, it was given permission to supply weapons and other equipment to Ukraine in the amount of 350.1 million euros.
