The Ukrainian military is developing a system of defense lines and is constantly training under the guidance of experienced instructors.
The border with Belarus is now calm, but for the military this is no reason to relax, because the situation can change at any moment. This was said by the commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Sergei Naev, the press service of the Joint Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Saturday, December 23.
According to him, in the Northern operational zone in every direction, the commanders, despite the absence of combat, are not sitting idle.
“We are forming a system of defense lines, constantly training the troops, maintaining their training, thus making it clear to a potential enemy that in the event of an invasion, he has no chance of success,” Naev said.
As the commander said, the training is conducted under the guidance of experienced instructors and immediate commander.
“An obstacle course, storming premises and strong points, providing basic premedical care and evacuating the wounded – this is a typical set of combat training measures in units serving in the Northern operational zone. We are having skills at the point of automaticity,” Naev said.
As you know, despite the fact that the threat of a Russian invasion from the territory of Belarus is low, the Ukrainian border in this area is constantly being strengthened, and the checkpoints are closed. While they are mine.
Ukrainian engineering groups of border detachments serving in the north of the country carry out daily work to strengthen the border line with Belarus.
