The ambassadors of the G7 countries expressed concern about the intentions to appoint members of the Accounts Chamber before the completion of the reform.
The Verkhovna Rada voted to appoint four members of the Accounts Chamber, despite requests from the G7 countries not to rush this matter. This was reported by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak on Telegram on Thursday, December 21.
According to him, during the rating vote the following were appointed to six-year terms of office:

Elizaveta Pushko-Tsibulyak (accountant of the State Bureau of Investigation) – 235 votes

Sergey Klyuchko (employee of the State Audit Service of Ukraine) – 231

Olga Peschanskaya (former head of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine) – 235

Kirill Klimenko – 238
Zheleznyak also said that Olga Peschanskaya should be appointed head of the Accounts Chamber. But after some time, he announced that this issue was postponed until next year, because Peschanskaya’s candidacy received only 232 votes in the signal vote.
“That is, they started the consideration, but they found a problem with the votes. vote immediately on the appointment at the first meeting,” added the town representative.
In this regard, the ambassadors of the G7 countries expressed concern about their intentions to appoint members of the Accounts Chamber before the end of the reform.
“Pending the reform law, these appointments could undermine confidence in the institution responsible for administering international aid,” the country’s ambassadors said in a statement. Twitter.
