On the evening of Sunday, December 17, an unknown car drove into the American leader’s motorcade. The incident occurred in Wilmington, Delaware, around 20:00 local time. Eyewitnesses said that the car collided with an SUV from the US President’s security motorcade. This was reported by Reuters.
The President and First Lady were not injured in the accident. Secret Service agents quickly cordoned off the culprit of the accident, which blocked traffic on the street. A gun was pointed at the black driver. Security then escorted a shocked Biden to his car.
It is noted that the accident occurred after a meeting between the US President and his wife Jill with members of the election team at the election headquarters. They have already returned to their home in Wilmington and are safe.
Let us remind you that in May there was an attempt on the life of Bulgarian Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev. Explosives were planted along the route of his motorcade. It was found and blown up on the road between the city of Samokov and the capital Sofia, along which Ivan Geshev was traveling with his deputy and other colleagues.
