The US intends to build storage facilities for Ukrainian grain

Joe Biden said the government will work to lower consumer prices for food and fuel.

The United States is developing a plan to export grain from Ukraine by rail and store it at transshipment points on the border, including Poland. Joe Biden said this while speaking at the Congress of Industrial Unions of the American Federation of Labor.

According to him, thousands of tons of grain are on the territory of Ukraine, but it is impossible to get it out to sea, because these ships will just explode.

“We want to build temporary silos for Ukrainian grain storage, including in Poland.

He also said the government will try to lower consumer prices for food and fuel.

Earlier it was reported that the UN is working on an agreement on grain corridors, which includes unblocking the export of Ukrainian grain by sea, as well as access to global markets for Russian food and fertilizers.

It will be recalled that earlier the head of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov said that no grain will go anywhere to anyone until the issue of security of Ukraine is resolved.
