Igor Borodaenko had his legs amputated as a result of his car hitting a Russian anti-tank mine.

On Saturday evening, Igor Borodaenko, deputy head of the administration of the Krasnoyarsk district of the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, died after being blown up by a mine the other day. The governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, announced this on Telegram on December 16.

“Tonight, Igor Vasilyevich, the man who exploded in a mine in the Krasnoyarsk region, died in the hospital,” Gladkov wrote.

On December 13, he reported that a car exploded in a mine near the village of Vysokoy, as a result of which three people were injured. In particular, as a result of the incident, one of the passengers had his legs torn, another received a closed head injury, and the third was in the hospital with a concussion.

Advisor to the mayor of Mariupol Pyotr Andryushchenko said that the car exploded as a result of hitting a Russian anti-tank mine. According to him, in the car, in addition to Borodaenko, whose legs were blown off, was the head of the administration of the Vyazovsky rural settlement, Galina Pashchenko.
