The Korean government handed over 10 mine clearance vehicles manufactured by the Croatian company DOK-ING to the State Service of Ukraine for Emergency Situations. This equipment has already arrived at its destination, where it will be distributed among the units of the State Emergency Service involved in the process of demining de-occupied Ukrainian territories. The Ukrainian Embassy in the Republic of Korea announced this on Facebook on December 15.
As part of meeting Ukraine’s needs for warm-up equipment, the Government of the Republic of Korea, with the assistance of the embassy, transferred 10 mine clearance machines to the State Service of Ukraine for Emergency Situations as humanitarian aid, the diplomatic department noted.
Let us recall that in November the Swedish company Global Clearance Solutions opened a maintenance center for mine clearance machines in Ukraine. The workshop will be able to repair GCS-200 machines, which are ideal for eliminating explosion threats on agricultural land.
