The mayor of Svyatogorsk announced the suspicion of infidelity

The mayor, going on the side of the enemy, accused the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine of deliberately burning the skete of the Svyatogorsk Lavra.

The head of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office was notified of the absentia of suspicion in Svyatogorsk mayor of high treason committed under martial law (part 2 of article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). This was reported by the Office of the Attorney General.

According to the investigation, the mayor, who passed on the side of the enemy, spread an appeal through the mass media, in which he spread the ideas of the “Russian world”. The suspect also expressed gratitude to the servicemen of the RF Armed Forces who were captured in the peaceful city.

In addition, the official agreed with the proposal of the representative of the administration of the occupation of the Russian Federation – the “chairman of the DPR” to take the position of the so -called chairman of the temporarily occupied Svyatogorsk, which caused damage to sovereignty. , territorial integrity and inviolability, state, economic and information security of Ukraine, they told the Prosecutor General’s Office.

The pre -trial investigation was conducted by the Chief Director of the SBU in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
