He told reporters about this before the EU Council summit.
We have established seven conditions that accompanied Ukraine’s candidate status. And according to the European Commission, three out of seven have not been implemented. There is no reason to discuss anything; it makes sense to return to this when Ukraine has fulfilled everything,” he said.
The Hungarian Prime Minister said that EU enlargement is not a theoretical issue, but based on merit and prerequisites. Therefore, he continues to oppose the solution to the negotiations on Ukraine’s accession to the EU.
The historic EU summit is in Brussels.
