The saboteurs, after a shooting battle that took place with the State Border Guard Service, were forced to retreat back to Russian territory.

A border patrol in the Sumy region, serving one of the directions of the state border, discovered several enemy DRGs moving from Russian territory. The State Border Service of Ukraine reported this on Thursday, December 14.

“The border guards immediately opened fire on the saboteurs, and a shootout ensued,” the report said.

Reserve units of the State Border Service and the Defense Forces moved to the scene to reinforce the direction. In addition, artillery and mortar crews were involved.

The invaders’ DRGs were forced to flee after the battle. The losses of the saboteurs are now clarified.

As we have already written, two enemy DRGs were prevented from entering the Chernigov region.

It was also reported that Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed seven boats of Russian DRGs in southern Ukraine.
