U.S. President Joe Biden will tour the Middle East in July, the White House press service reported on Tuesday, June 14th.
“President Joe Biden will visit the Middle East region from July 13 to 16 to strengthen the U.S.’s unwavering commitment to Israel’s security and development, and will attend the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) summit,” the statement said.
This summit will be attended by Egypt, Iraq and Jordan.
First, Biden will travel to Israel, then visit the West Bank, then he will come to Saudi Arabia, where the GCC summit will be held.
It will be recalled that at the end of June, Biden will visit Europe, where he will take part in the G7 summit in Germany and the NATO meeting in Spain.
Biden’s previous trip to Europe took place at the end of March. He then took part in the summit of NATO leaders, the G7 countries and spoke with EU leaders.
