Things can get very hot at Headquarters, but information about disagreements between Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny is a baseless campaign.

On December 13, NSDC Secretary Alexey Danilov emphasized during a telethon that Russia is trying in every possible way, even “using useful idiots on the territory of Ukraine,” to take advantage of the situation.
The President has chaired the 121st meeting of the Headquarters since the beginning of Russian aggression. At each meeting there are discussions, reports and, of course, it can be very heated, because the topic of war is an important one. I am annoyed that one of my colleagues who are members of the Headquarters somehow interprets this whole situation differently. But keep in mind that if there is no discussion, then there are no positive quality decisions, Danilov said.
Let us recall that on December 12, Valery Zaluzhny, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Commander of the Ground Forces Alexander Syrsky and Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov presented awards to the military on the eastern front. Umerov said that there was no question of dismissing Commander-in-Chief Valery Zaluzhny or other commanders.
He added that this issue is being “shaken both internally and externally,” and he always jokes about this with Zaluzhny.
