The target of the attack is the entry points to Amazon (banks and website). However, bankers keep the situation under control. Co-founder of Monobank Oleg Gorokhovsky reported this on Telegram.
Subsequently, Gorokhovsky stated that the cyber attack on Monobank was repulsed.
Meanwhile, “Public” reported that the speaker of PrivatBank, Oleg Serga, said that “everything is ok” with this institution now. However, due to interruptions in the work of the Kyivstar mobile operator, some POS-terminals, ATMs and self-service terminals of PrivatBank may work unstably or have no connection.
Let us remind you that on December 12, the mobile operator Kyivstar experienced a major technical failure due to a powerful hacker attack. Mobile communications and Internet access services are temporarily unavailable. Subscribers’ personal data is not compromised.
Law enforcement officers and special government services record the circumstances and consequences of interference in work. Kyivstar specialists are already working to fix the problems, the connection will be operational in a few hours.
