Previously, the defendant tried to identify possible locations for the deployment of anti-aircraft missile systems of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the region.
To complete this task, the enemy agent received from his “curators” for the Russian game a 10 thousand UAH “advance” on his own bank card.
The following amounts should be received by the defendant as they are provided with new coordinates for the basing and movement of Ukrainian troops.
The aggressor needed intelligence to prepare new and adjust repeated attacks on the area using missile weapons and Shahed-type kamikaze drones.
After completing all hostile tasks, the occupiers promised to “evacuate” their henchman to the left bank of the Kherson region, where his parents lived.
However, SBU officers prevented the implementation of these “plans” – they established the location of the Russian agent and detained him while trying to transmit intelligence information to the invaders.
According to the investigation, a local resident was detained, who was remotely recruited by Russian military intelligence through his relatives. They live in the temporarily occupied part of Kherson and have been cooperating with the Russian intelligence service for a long time.
At the instructions of the invaders, the relatives gave the defendant the contact of the “curator” from the Russian game and “conditional phrases” that the traitor used to establish an intelligence connection with the occupier.
During the search, a mobile phone was seized, which he used to communicate with the aggressor.
Security Service investigators informed the detainee of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 111 (high treason committed under martial law) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
He is in custody. The attacker faces life imprisonment.
