Analysts noted that, according to information from Russian military officials, the Ukrainian Armed Forces gained new positions on Bolshoi Potemkin Island.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue ground operations on the left bank of the Dnieper, hold positions, and fight the invaders near Krynki. This was stated in an analysis by analysts at the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
Analysts noted that the Ukrainian General Staff reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were holding positions on the east bank of the Dnieper and were attacking Russian positions in the area.
Russian military officials said that fighting continues near the village of Krynki (30 km northeast of Kherson) and noted the continued high speed of Ukrainian operations in the area. In particular, one of them said that Ukrainian troops gained new positions on Bolshoi Potemkin Island (southwest of Kherson).
However, ISW estimates that Ukrainian troops control the entire island.
We remind you that Russian troops are using new tactics in an attempt to destroy the bridge of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the village of Krynki in the Kherson region. In particular, the enemy is trying to send troops to the rear of Ukrainian positions.
In addition, the General Staff reported that the Defense Forces continue to hold positions on the left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region and continue to fire on the enemy.
