A new pre-election poll shows that 47% of voters are ready to vote for Trump, while 43% of Americans will vote for Biden. This is if there is voting only for these two candidates. If five potential outsiders and independent candidates are added to this list, the ex-president’s advantage increases to 6 points – from 37% to 31%. The Wall Street Journal writes about this.
It is noted that a new poll shows an increase in dissatisfaction with Biden. Just 23% of voters say this president’s policies have helped them personally, while 53% say Biden’s agenda has hurt them.
Also, about half of voters say Trump’s policies while president helped them personally, and more than 37% say they were hurt.
About 37% approve of Biden’s job performance, the lowest in WSJ polling during his presidency, while 61% see his overall image in an unfavorable light, also a record high.
It is noted that the WSJ surveyed 1,500 registered voters from November 29 to December 4 and had a margin of error of plus or minus 2.5 percentage points.
Recall that in the summer of 2023, former US President Donald Trump said that Vladimir Putin was “somewhat weakened” due to the unsuccessful insurrection and therefore it was time for the United States to try to negotiate a peaceful settlement between Russia and Ukraine. Trump did not rule out that Ukraine would have to cede part of Ukrainian territory to Russia in order to stop the war.
