The head of the Udmurt Republic, Alexander Brechalov, recently announced the formation of four new regional formations.
Russia is trying to expand the combat power of the army without conducting a general mobilization. The authorities of Udmurtia are creating a formation to strengthen the front line in Ukraine. This was reported by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
The other day, the head of the Udmurt Republic, Alexander Brechalov, announced the formation of four new regional formations. We are talking about an anti-aircraft missile battalion Evgeniy Dragunovanti-aircraft missile division Covermotorized battalion Varmun and air assault division (Airborne) bed. These formations will be transferred to Ukraine to participate in hostilities.
According to Brechalov, the Udmurts staffed these new units after the end of contracts with the Russian Ministry of Defense.
As the ISW report states, “these units appear to be Russian irregulars of unknown strength, which likely do not match the doctrinal strength of their stated echelons. line in Ukraine.”
At the same time, the Ministry of Defense of Russia announced a further simplification of the procedure for issuing certificates to participants in a full-scale war against Ukraine.
Russian fighters no longer need to apply for a veteran’s certificate, as the department will automatically issue these certificates based on available information about the fighter.
ISW suggests that simplifying this procedure could be part of Russia’s ongoing formalization efforts aimed at restoring Russian administrative control over the irregular forces involved in the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Earlier it was reported that the mobilized Russians were arriving in Crimea. Among them are many representatives of national minorities: Buryats, Yakuts, Uighurs and others.
We remind you that, according to the Center of National Resistance, Russia uses mercenaries from Cuba on the eastern front line.
