14 cruise missiles destroyed air defense forces on the morning of December 8 (INFOGRAPHICS)

    Today, December 8, at about 6.00, the Russian invaders attacked with Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles from Tu-95MS strategic bombers.

    This was reported on the Facebook page of the Air Force Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

    A total of seven aircraft from the Saratov region were involved, which previously launched 19 air-launched cruise missiles:

    • some of the enemy missiles were aimed at infrastructure facilities in the Dnepropetrovsk region;
    • another group of missiles, having reached the Dnieper, changed the direction of movement towards Kyiv.

    As of 09:00, 14 out of 19 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles were destroyed in the Dnepropetrovsk and Kiev regions, the Air Force notes.
