At night, soldiers of the 8th Special Operations Forces Regiment, using a drone with a thermal imager, recorded an enemy attempt to bring in reinforcements at a forward position. The enemies were covered with mortar fire. The command of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Facebook on December 7.
It is noted that as a result of the crushing blow, eight invaders were killed and another was injured.
MTR operators continue to carry out combat missions in the Avdiivka direction and hinder the attempts of the occupying forces to cordon off the city, the command emphasized.
Let us recall that on December 7, the Defense Forces stated that the losses of the army of the Russian Federation for almost two months of attempts to cordon off Avdeevka already numbered more than 15 thousand occupiers killed and wounded. Also in the Avdeevsky direction, the enemy lost eight Su-25 aircraft and more than 600 pieces of equipment.
